NITWSA was registered under the societies Registration Act, XXI, 1860 during 1990-91. It is a non-profit making, apolitical, non-governmental voluntary social welfare and inter disciplinary organization . It believes and acts in the spirit of voluntary services. It has Board of management from different sectors of the society.
